Students Collect Over 300 Coats for Kids
Highland Middle School and Highland High School DARE Role Models, along with HHS SADD members, are very proud of this year's "Coats For Kids" campaign and the over 300 coats collected district wide. Highland students have been participating in the coat drive for the past seven years. Coats are being accepted through December 6 at all Highland School buildings. Thank you to our Highland parents and community members for their generous donations of new and gently used coats. The coats will be distributed to needy individuals right here in the Highland community. A special thanks to Howard Hanna/Smythe Cramer in Wadsworth for coordinating this effort each year and covering the cost of dry cleaning the coats. Pictured from left are Highland Middle School students: Jack Hoynes, Brianna Budinsky, Tyler Randolph, Ryan Killeen, Jayda Vorndran, Gus Ruggiero, Madelyn Meacham and Margaret Houska.
